Speaking coupon slang

In the couponing world there is a language all it's own. When first starting out it can be all a little confusing. We are here to help you navigate through the process of learning to coupon, and save your family money. These are words you will see most often

Coupon inserts from Papers:
SS - Smart Source
RP - Red Plum
PG - Proctor and Gamble
These inserts come in the Sunday paper. When listed here we will always state the date of insert the coupon was in. i.e 8/26 Smart Source is the Smart Source insert from Sunday 8/26 paper.

Coupon Types:

Peellies - Coupon attached to the product.
Blinkies - Coupons from the little black boxes on the store shelves
IP - Internet printable
Catalina - These can be a gold mine. Catalina's come from the little machine next to the cash register. You will receive a coupon for $x off a certain item or $x off your next order over $x.
